Terrible place to work, no raises, toxic work culture

Awful place to work, no raises for 3+ years, no growth, overall a very depressing place to work. Upper management not transparent. Vendors calling asking when they will get paid. Would not recommend.

Not as nice as it used to be.
|
Since the company started doing "improvements" the store is going down. There's no structure, we are always in the uncertainty that who's gonna be the next to be laid off. They say that they have a plan but they are always doing the same, laying off people, sending products that are not attractive for sales as before, the commission's are almost impossible to receive and they don't let the associates have decent work hours especially in Puerto Rico where we have a minimum wage that is not even a little bit close to what is necessary to at least survive. They are absolutely not employee friendly, they only care about the sales. Its sad because I used to love this store and what it was before all the "improvements" but if it wasn't for the amazing coworkers that I have I would say this company is not pleasant to work with.

I liked this job. I stopped working here due to covid closures but i definitely would have stayed longer. On days that were slow i would just clean the displays to stay busy. Overall this job really wasnt bad at all. Management was nice and professional.
