It is a place where you can learn and grow as your a first professional career. You wear many hats here due to the small staff and often very busy workload especially with conventions. Working with a board of directors who are volunteers and elected that not always know how to contribute as they come from many walks of life, expertise & backgrounds. I learned that it is best to lead the meeting and then relax throughout the day by starting really strong and then enjoying the recollection of the thoughts that were said during the meeting. The workplace culture was somewhat iffy.
