Most enjoyable place I've ever worked at
|
This place showed me what it's like to inspire people with my new ideas and my youth and energy. There was never a disheartening event that came around and I made so many friends that I miss, having no other connections with them.
|
Time cards allowed me to log my work for whenever I wanted, the bonds I made with students will last forever, and I love and miss them, I got to show people my education for a hobby that I loved, I was able to clean the. I was stressed (art is always messy), I never missed out on a single conversation.
|
No benefits, only allowed to. work 19 hrs/week, too flexible schedule caused me to not be present during depressing times, some students passed away (elderly)

Great for getting school work done. Being social on campus and be active in orgs makes for great campus life. Hours are not stressful but pay is not good.

Hard to advance
|
Teaching is a highly flooded market. You'll have to work part-time for seven years to hopefully, eventually become full-time, and likely it could be with the other college you are also working for part-time. Tough industry, too many pushed towards college, yet not enough positions to teach in.

Department works great together. I worked in the summer and we worked M-Thursday, with Friday off. People were kind of like a family, bringing donuts or breakfast, etc.
