Great environment to be in - people are collaborative, supportive, kind. I feel good leaving work every day. - Nice office space - Owner makes a large contribution for medical insurance which is a big help since I recently became a parent. He also gives a lot of money to you if you contribute to your 401K - Family owned business, which can sometimes pose problems, but the kids are super motivated, especially the son. He has replaced a former VP and now runs the sales department and is really taking the reigns. The VP was very seasoned but the son seems like he's more relatable and more fun for the sales reps. Overall, things are looking up for that department. - Everyone is always looking out for each other. Feels like a family. - My manager cares a lot about how I'm learning and cares for me as a person. That's rare to find these days because it's always about the business. People care a lot about people here. - Increasing focus on employee development professionally and personally with a growth path which is promising Overall, I'm excited about where the company is going. Two execs left the company recently to start their own thing. Everyone thought it was going to be a big deal but it was the complete opposite. The leadership has been resilient, responsive, and communicative and is working hard to make it better for everyone. It's only been a few months since the change and there's already a big, positive difference. - Follow through on employee programs like free snacks. Things change based on budgets at times so it can be inconsistent - More professional development paths. Very friendly co-workers and managers - It used to be hard to move up in the company but that seems to have changed which is great. It seems like more people are getting more responsibilities and starting to move up in the company. -Great work life/home life balance. Unlike most sales jobs you get to go home and see your family at the end of the day. -Many of the higher up Account Managers are always helpful with new hires when it comes to sales techniques and product knowledge. -The company seems to be doing well and is always expanding -If you work hard you will be noticed for it, which is something I didn't see too much in other sales jobs. -Grinding on those phones, but hey that's sales - Integration between systems can sometimes fail which can causes chaos but doesn't happen too often. - I have definitely noticed some people getting too comfortable and not trying to grow there territory which can be infectious. Am-Touch is a nice place to work...I have been working here for 3 years now. All of the people are nice and the CEO is always doing everything to grow. That being said, in my 3 years here the trend is upwards over the last 6 months. Nice work environment/conditions. It was not good for a while. We felt "lucky to have a job". But now they're going to lengths to make us feel more a part of the team. Asking for input, asking how they can change to make it a better place to work. Putting more effort into making it a fun environment. Still a ways to go, but it's nice to see some change happening. Very good work/life balance though. You're never asked to work after-hours. Sometimes it feels like them spending money to make the team happier (raise the morale) is seen as a "gift". Mostly great co-workers, one superb manager if you are lucky enough to work for him. Pleasant environment, management approachable. They had a great team (and team spirit) in previous years, but most of those employees have moved on. Extremely high turnover rate for employees. Everyone is disposable. Lots of whispering and closed door meetings in full view of you. Pretty standard work hours and CEO provides little extras for employees like catered lunches here and there. Overall the company seems disorganized and nepotism is an issue as it would be in family run company. This is a great place to start a career in the dental industry. They are currently investing a lot in there infrastructure. Amtouch is direct with all the major dental manufactures. This is a growing company where new reps can experience large territory growth. Starting pay is low for the industry. There has been a lot of turnover in many different management rolls. You will never receive a increase in your base salary. You will receive an increase in your commission but you will be told you are required to give yourself a raise through growth.
