OK but not the best

The pay was good, the people are friendly. LOTS OF WORK TO DO to keep you busy at your desk. It growing from a friendly local business to a big boy corporation.
During busy times they will provide food to the customer service department.
They celebrate employees birthdays once a month and also donate money to local people/organizations in need.
They have a holiday party and give out bonuses for those there longer than a year.

No direction in regards to training when learning a new tasks. Managers seem to have it in for each other so the communication definitely is reflected in each department. There seemed to be no team work as a company, just as a department.

Paychex actually cares about the people that work for them. I have worked for big company's before and they mostly care about money. AmCheck is a company that gets it. They know that if we are happy then we work hard because we are proud of our work. They have always been then for me and my family.

I have gained too much weight because they are buying us lunch and getting snacks and I have not been able to burn them off LOL.

Love My Job

I have been with AmCheck for 5 years now and absolutely love my job. The atmosphere is challenging and fun and everyone in the office provides a positive and collaborative feel. The company also encourages professional growth. I started at an entry level job and have been promoted twice. I truly feel that the management values employees that have a good work ethic and will reward them for a job well done.

Management is not equipped or experienced enough to create individual employee growth. The management team preaches about accountability but offers no training to employees that may need it. The management has a got it or you don’t attitude towards staff that affects day to day operations. The word cultural is thrown around loosely but cult is the proper terminology. Management is not equipped or experienced enough to run a small company and it shows.

Have been with the organization almost 6 months. Overall positive experience. Refreshing working for a company with great products and an excellent reputation. Everyone in the office has been super friendly. Owner and upper management are extremely approachable and very open minded to any ideas/feedback that can positively impact the organization. 1) The atmosphere is wonderful. All my coworkers are friendly, professional, and have positive outlooks that make the office a very pleasant place to work.
2) The management team is really great. As employees we are able to do work without being micromanaged. However, when assistance is needed management is right there to help.
3) The company vision is extremely clear: Our job is to take care of clients. We are given the best tools and leeway to provide great customer service.
4) The company hosts a bunch of activities. Whether it’s the book club, team building, or a bake sale for charity, there is always something happening. By having so many options, everyone, no matter their personality, can be included.

The only thing I feel is missing is a policy manual. While I understand that everything rule has an exception, I think it would be helpful to have some sort of foundation to build on.
