In my opinion it's been a great place to work with wonderful people and I'm dumbfounded by these negative reviews. People are well compensated, the health care benefits are top notch ($20 copays, $200 deductible for PPO plan and you have the option to cover dependents), you're allowed to telecommute, lots of learning and networking opportunities (we had a company call with Dr. Fauci where you were able to ask him questions which was incredible), zero layoffs since the pandemic began and leadership has been supportive with monthly phone calls to keep everyone in the loop regarding updates.

It's a large company so things can be siloed, certain departments are more flexible than others which is unfair, and leadership is slightly top heavy

AHA doesn’t care about its people.

Not much other then the location.
|
This is a horrible place to work. They keep saying how much they care about their people but they don’t demonstrate it at all. They are making all of us go to back
to the office on June 1 even though there is no reason for it. Most jobs can be remote. Leadership is stuck in the dark ages and don’t trust people to work from home. For this they are willing to put employees safety and their lives at risk. We have to endure these horrible all association calls on Friday and listen to these fake leaders. The chief people officer is totally inept and can’t even answer basic questions employees have asked.
