Outdated management structure limits company
|
The various arms within this company are siloed and therefore there is little opportunity to collaborate when doing so would benefit our member organizations. Moreover, the AHA has a poor track record of promoting from within and recognizing the contributions of individual team members. That said, I am very proud of some of the products that we were able to offer our clients, I merely regret that our organization could have done so more efficiently had there been better communication between individual teams.

Poor new management ruined what was once a great company
|
This company is very political and senior management is awful. They don't seem to have a clue how to retain membership and have gotten rid of some of their profitable business because it "didn't align with their mission".
On the positive side, benefits are decent (though not what they once were) and people on the bottom of the totem pole are great to work with.

Non-management staff great, very few good managers
|
Most people have to eat lunch at their desk because of too much work. Very difficult to make efficiency improvements. Managers do not know how to manage people well. Some are mean, some are incompetent. But very good benefits and the non-management staff are great.
