Several changes have occurred for the Best and for the Worst at the College. Some moves brought much needed stability and leadership, but there were some moves that were strictly based on nepotism and cronyism. Departments that have been affected by that are now under un-deserved stress and rules. Change is good, but too many changes ruins whatever is left of a productive work environment and culture. Middle management runs around with a tail between its legs, doesn’t listen to employees, HR is a bullying joke as is upper management. I felt harassed and gossiped about for raising questions that I needed answered to do my job effectively. Many employees do not do their jobs effectively because of this reason. Unfortunately none of them are in senior leadership. Leadership refuses to listen to the employees doing the work, interacting with students, and maintaining relationships with external clients.
