PTO, paid holidays, WFH flexibility, abilitiy to leave after 4.5 hours of work and not be required to take a half day, discretionary year end bonuses

work scheduling always seems to be an issue as most staff calendars are very busy, I wish they were better at retaining lower level staff (associates/seniors) to help scheduling. Scheduling conflicts are stressful and are internally created issues and are told this in a public accounting issue but i think this is an internal issue that could be solved with better management/retention.

This is a great place to work! The training they provide is the best I’ve ever experienced going into a new job. Everyone is very friendly and always willing to help even during “busy season” (tax season) . They really spoil their employees.

Office management tends to micro manage and pick favorites. HR is well aware and does nothing about it.

-Although it didn't truly hit me until after I left the firm, Anders does a terrific job of training soft skills. The soft skills I learned at Anders (communication, management, etc...) have allowed me to make great strides in my current role.
-Community involvement - the firm is involved in the community and encourages/supports their employees to get involved as well.
-Your career is in your hands - the firm gives you autonomy and partners/managers truly want to see everyone succeed.

Love the open door atmosphere in the firm. Partners are always willing to take time out of their day to help employees. You can tell they genuinely care about their employees. They care about the future of the firm which is evident by the time and resources put into the firm's Young Professional group. Great overall family culture at the firm!
