Of all the race teams to work for in the paddock, Andretti seems to be the most organized and follows procedures and guidelines set in place. The staff (at least at the time that I worked there) was incredible across the board and I truly enjoyed my role. There also seemed to be a lot of internal promotion, which gave everyone something to work toward. If you were a good employee, they would do their best to find a way to keep you.

At the time, the pay wasn't great. I think they've realized that. Sometimes communication is not the greatest between management and other staff. Lots of travel required.

Being involved with racing at this level is what people dream of.
|
Everything about the environment, management and job. Management frequently would ask you to take on more and more responsibility as people around you quit and then would ghost you when you would ask about being paid for those additional jobs. The entire commercial team is comprised of yes men. They don’t consider practical and long term business strategies so when the wind blows another direction, everyone is sent scrambling. If you want to be harassed, demeaned, stressed to the point of physical implications then this is the company for you. On my first day, I was told by a child of a member of management, “this place doesn’t set up anyone for success”. That’s how bad it is.
