- Everyone I have come across is always open to ideas and suggestions.
- No politics, healthy work environment, no ego clashing.
- HR team is great at communication, keeping the work culture so positive and they make sure we all are still connected with our co-workers even during the time of remote work.
- CEO and the HR team have been amazing at keeping employee health prime importance and we were one of the first companies in the Bay Area to go remote when the pandemic started.

Good company but growing pains

Calgary office is very laid back and people are nice. Many of the developers are kinda quiet, so if you like a laid back quiet environment this is good. Immediate calgary management is great.

Company went very corporate very shortly. There's some definite growing pains in a company that essentially went from nothing to start up to corporate. It's obviously not as big as a large sized firm but it can sometimes feel like that. They need to hire some extras and redefine work place procedures and a lot of systems as well but nothing that's out of the ordinary.

CEOs employ a hiring scorecard for all new hires which conflicts with everything diversity-equity-inclusion stands for.
Company is only growing via M&A. Little/no organic growth.
Due to above M&A "strategy", AppDirect is no longer a software/tech company. It's now a low margin services business.
If you think this company will go public and/or get bought at tech valuations anytime soon, think again.
