Greatest and the most understand company
|

I was hired as a community representative and my role was support/community management. This was my first job in my life and I was glad I started it here. People at this company are so understanding and was fine with me not being able to attend work meetings due to personal circumstances. The work life balance is extremely good since it is a remote working position. I learned a lot and will continue to work here as long as possible.

Very considerate, open, and thoughtful team. Global team. You get to work with people from all parts of the world. My small team of 9 people have from 7 different countries, a unique experience. Fully remote working environment. The product is gaining traction and is set to do well.

No reason to write reviews because they have all negatives removed. Last year close to 100 reviews were speaking the truth, and somehow the magic number is less than 40. WHAT IS THE POINT!

The company direction changes in a significant way at least once a year.
If the year ends in an odd number, you'll only have one person making product decisions and coordinating feature development.
In the same vein, a lot of coordination responsibilities in the odd years is doled out under the guise of empowerment, but the net result is longer hours or dysfunction. This leads to the inevitable over correction in even years, which frankly go by much more smoothly until the round of layoffs that happen after most of the issues are sorted.
While I can honestly say I've felt valued as an employee while working here, the way the company handles layoffs is very disrespectful. I am fearful of what horrors await me in my eventual layoff experience.

Stick to a strategy and have faith in the people you hire.
Stick to a strategy:
There is a middle ground between hardcore project management and zero project management.
Don't completely rethink your product roadmap every 6-9 months.
Have faith in the people you hire:
I can't believe this needs to be said, but don't layoff the literal face of your product and liaison to your community.
Don't hire a CEO and leadership team only to fire them a year later.
Every new layoff meeting is more disrespectful than the last. Some people that were affected by the latest round were inadvertently invited to the layoff meeting before being told they were affected. This is a minor clerical error that has immense impact on company morale, not to mention the emotions of those affected.
