The developments and strides they are making on the back end of the software will completely revolutionize an industry that has been super slow to adopt new technology. However they are slightly ahead of their time for a reluctant customer base making adoption slightly slower than the shareholders would like. While upper level management is exceptionally open about the state of the business and great at contextualizing numbers, mid level management (at least when I was there) still was learning the business and trying to prove themselves. Minimal training or feedback, high stress to reach numbers, and minimal job security.
