Small company, flexible schedule, decent benefits (quickly gets expensive for family coverage), able to compete with larger players in the industry. Legacy business is relatively stable and profitable.

Poor management and leadership for new products. Sporadic executive involvement causes unclear vision across departments leading to development in silos, costly miscommunications, poor goal setting, and team power struggles. Focus on process and technology rather than product and client relations leads to wasted time, missed deadlines, and product releases missing key functionality.

Drive-by guidance and unclear chains of authority lead to confusion and wasted time. Poor performers, bad management, and team conflicts will not work themselves out without intervention.

Tremendous place to work, it is a growing company and the successes are many. If you work hard and do a good job you will be rewarded. They often promote from within. Good atmosphere and friendly environment. They put a lot of time and effort into their employees. From the CEO and down. Benefits are great for a small company, with 401k match, etc. Highly recommended place to work.
