Want a specific sales path and things done a very specific way that doesn't work for anyone. Good first sales job or a job right out of school, but after 1 year you could make a lot more elsewhere that has career opportunities. Within Sales, management is a BIG boys club/ frat house. Management would make decisions without input from employees leading to some bewildering situations. And they are sometimes OBSESSED with creating a repeatable process which can take the creativity out of the sales process. That said, everything that they do, as frustrating as it may seem sometimes, is for the benefit of their employees. The people that make it through the first few months in sales have the opportunity to go on and do great things with their careers. It can be hard getting started here, but they will teach you how to sell. Sometimes, trial by fire is the best thing that you can do for a prospective sales person, and looking back, even though some days I really hated it, I look back on it fondly.
