Overall I had a positive experience working at AGG. The IP department was poorly organized and no leadership. There was one particular attorney in that department who was a nightmare to work with. The attorney micromanaged; overly criticized, and a bully. I fully understand that attorneys can be difficult and demanding. The attorney was never satisfied with the work I did. The attorney wanted the paralegals to manually input each trademark information one-by-one when the department changed from one docketing system to another system, instead of having the system company map out data and transfer the info. My billing for those months were terrible. The other attorneys in the IP department were kind, nice, and effective. I cared about doing earning their respect than being bullied by this particular attorney. The attorney was the reason I changed to another law firm. None of the attorneys at my current law firm act like this current attorney. Good work can be produced without being treated like a child and being micromanaged.

People are generally friendly, a lot fewer attitudes compared to other big firms in the city. Billable hours expectations are truly what they are listed to be (so 1900 means 1900).
