We work together as a team and when the chips are down we all pull together and work it out collectively. ASAP Systems is the leader in inventory tracking and has a great set of customers in all industries. This makes it exciting to work with/for. We are a team of employees that get excited for each other and do not accept when someone is not a team player. We have a great product, great clients, and great peers. When someone chooses to write false and negative reviews they obviously weren't team players and haven't moved on as all of us here at ASAP Systems have. We uplift , we are driven, we accept nothing but the best, we accept failure, and we pull for each other as a family member would. The cons would be that sometimes it's hard. Sometimes we have to roll up our sleeves and pound it out. Sometimes we are disappointed. But that is very far and few incidents as opposed to much more of the positives. For me, the environment of a workplace will make or break the company, and ASAP really worked on its environment to accommodate every employee. My teammates became like a second family to me, we help each other, we support each other and we work great together. My co-workers are the best, everyone helps everybody. and what matters the most their is no negative energy, always positive and that what makes me excel at my job. In my 15years of experice i have never worked with such professional people, from employees to management. When i first started everyone made me feel very welcomed and theg acknowledged my opinions and ideas. The management are very professional people, and they trust their employees and their work. They help you when needed also. Very confontable workplace. I see myself working here for a long time. My team was amazing and such hard workers, the one sales person we had, yes one sales person, worked incredibly hard while dealing with incredible pressure from the CEO. I worked for this company for 7 and a half years, and I did get promoted twice (Once to Manager and again to Director) While I did manage to be promoted to Manager of Sales Engineering (4 years) then to Director who oversaw Sales Engineering, Support and Training (2 years) the last 3 years I was with this company it was an absolute nightmare. As a Manager I ended with about a $59K salary. Once promoted to a Director level position. I did get a pay increase to $64K/year salary. However, I now oversaw 3 departments, one of which was overseas, so you can be the judge on if that pay increase was adequate for the responsibilities I had. Please keep in mind that by the end of my time here this was my salary even the second highest tenured employee in the entire company (only the CEO had more years with the company than me at that point). There was a promise of profit sharing once I became a director, but after maybe 2 or 3 profit shares over about a year and a half (which were very little) the CEO decided to kill that program. Not that it mattered since nobody except the CEO knew where that profit line was, so we were always in the dark regarding if there was any profits to be had. Even if there was, it was up to the CEO to decide if he wanted to share, so basically, not a real profit sharing program like I’ve had at other legit companies. I will say that due to this, I did get a slight increase to $69K a year, but now the potential for profit sharing was no longer available to me, so the potential to make more money dropped dramatically. So much for showing my dedication over the years to this place. There was always the possibility of commission, but anyone who worked here during this time can validate that if we got commission, we were lucky. Commission plans were eventually made in a way that made it impossible to actually earn any commission. This wasn't the case when I started, but I guess the easiest way to make up for the company making bad decisions and losing money was to take it out of the pockets of its employees. At one point I remember not getting our new comp plans until 6 weeks into the quarter (yes, that is half the quarter gone before we knew what our goals were) so achieving anything here was just never going to happen. The absolute works part of working at this place was the micro-managing. Never was anyone able to work on anything without the CEO having to constantly micro manage ever little detail. This was so bad, that it caused one project after another to fall behind, and was the cause for most of the company churn. My last few months on the job the CEO would call one of our Directors all day. This person was not able to do any work because the CEO constantly had her on the phone. I mean like several hours a day, not a few minutes here and there. If you plan on taking a job with this company please be aware that you do this at your own risk. There is a reason why the company rating is low on this site. Micro managing, harassment, and hostile work environment pretty much sum this place up. Vacation and sick time are basically considered a privilege, even though the law says otherwise. Some employees were even forced to cancel vacations they had already planned and paid for because they were going to lose their job if they took that time off. During my time here, many of us had to deal with the CEO calling us during the weekend, then trying to make us feel bad if we’re too busy with our own lives, friends and families to discuss his business with him. At one point I had to take a sick day. I was forced by the CEO to go to the doctor. He basically treated me like I was one of this children who was faking it like I just didn't want to go to school, so after being harassed by him on my cell phone, I went to a clinic. The doctor told me that I should take the next couple of days off because of a stomach flu. Well, since I didn't want to deal with the same harassment the next day, I simply went to work against the Doctors orders. Then I was scolded because I came in. However, I wasn't told to just go home. I was forced to write and sign something saying that i will not hold ASAP Systems responsible if I were to get worse. Basically your damned if you do and damned if you don't with this company. Oh and good luck trying to make something like that hold up on court, lol. Other issues with this company, there was no work life balance, limited career opportunities, and the overall culture is toxic. The CEO will hire someone for one job, then decides to change up their job title and/ or give them different responsibilities. So yes, many of those people fail and they are blamed for not doing the job right, when that wasn't the job they were hired to do. in the first place. Finally, a short bit for the CEO. Please keep your personal business to yourself. Nobody needs to know about your conquests In the USA or overseas. It makes everyone uncomfortable when you chat about that garbage, and puts the employees in a very awkward situation. Just know, if you keep that up, someone will sue you one day. I know for a fact that you're posting fake reviews to bump up your rating, and that means you are simply deceiving those who apply for a job. That's not what I would expect form a company CEO who say they don't lie, cheat, or steal.
