The doctors were amazing and they listen to the nurses.
|
The staff in the ICU are very clicky and not friendly. The new Manager Justin Smith ruined the place, horrible environment. Unsafe patient ratios. They were not bad prior to the new management. Very Racist. HR doesn't do anything but Condone the racial conflicts. They even hired someone to culture sensitivity to help improve improvement of the minorities but even he could not improve the culture.

You used to get a lot of support from the new grad program, but they've since gotten rid of that support. The management allowed for plenty of shift changes, and pickups so the pay was usually worth it.

There is poor leadership and under-experienced support due to the high turnover rate.

Higher more trained nurses, not just a bunch of newer nurses. Retention is the key, and the best way to prevent turnover is pay, benefits, and support.
