Poor company to work for!

Probably the worst company ever been employed by in my working life. The worst manager having worked under. He brought his personal problems to work and took it out on the employees under him. When I went through the hiring process and training I feel as though I was very misled about the requirements for the position. After hiring and the 90 day training period my wages were dropped to minimum wage on the pretext that commissions would bring the pay rate up. With very limited way of gaining commission opportunities. Only able to receive commission from the sales of mattresses, delivery services and furniture insurance. The insurance was a huge rouse to the customers, mainly because how difficult it was to use and the low acceptance of cases when furniture was delivered. From the deception through the hiring process, to the training process and the sales of poor quality goods trying to sell them as high quality goods. Just to deceptive for me to stay.

Has a lot to be desired. Process needs revamping.

They drop ball at corporate level. This is only a reference to 1915 south.

They do not listen to boots on the ground, we miss lots of opportunities in sales because of that.

Super unprofessional at the Waterbury location

The interview was super unprofessional as they are very understaffed. The manager doing interview had to keep leaving to answer calls. Then don’t respond after offering you position. I called multiple times as management told me I would be starting that weekend. Didn’t respond and haven’t updated me on anything as far as completing paperwork or when I start.

Family oriented Work environment for the most part. HOWEVER other reps continuously trying to steal sales. High turnover due to high sales objectives. Also due to the nature of the environment only a few reps will make money while the of the reps will pick up the crumbs.

Customers are weird and its hard if you don’t like to push people buy something. They have protocol you have to follow.. if you don’t follow customers they will give it to other sales person.
