1. provide cozy place, snacks and beverages just like all the new start-ups.
2. have a lot of young ppl here
3. can always take your time, flexible working time
|
1. they hire many part-timers to do the same things as the full-timers
2. project is not led by person who knows how to manage, and usually continue without well-organized, therefore ppl who operate the following processes always have to pick up the pieces
3. ppl without capabilities to handle the projects can get much more allocation than those who truly put efforts into solving the problems which occurs because of the poor senior management

- Great place to simultaneously apply existing knowledge and learn more
- Colleagues are a great bunch of people
- CEO is very supportive
- More progressive work environment than most local companies (flexible scheduling, 1 remote work day a month, more personal input in decision making)
- Rewards you for performance

- Monthly Salary is acceptable, but yearly salary is much lower than most. (Maximum 14 months)
- Some people in upper management levels seem a bit inexperience, luckily none of them were my direct supervisor.
- Doesn't reward you for effort (ex: maybe performance of one colleague is simply based on market trend, whereas another's specific market didn't do well, although they tried hard.) but i understand it is nearly impossible to fairly judge this.
- Manpower shortage might mean some people must take up more duties.

- okay salary, depends on how you negotiate your salary
- care about data (in a wrong way)
- flexible working hours
- good place for talented junior rookies
|
- no culture (all words no actions), manager’s behavior is always against the cornerstone of culture
- no communication, if you get promotion, job rotation or reorganization happened, they won’t face to face tell you but a personnel adhoc email instead. The information only you will know it but not other colleagues.
- no product sense, CEO, COO have no idea how to build an internet product and no passion on making product better.
- no senior guy here, managers here have weak professional skills and knowledge in their fields.
- no commitment, managers often go back on their word.

- do research competitor’s product sometimes at least, you need to know what’s their functions and new releases
- stop treating drinks without causality validation, please spend time and understand what are your employees’ real outcomes, instead of your emotional feeling on product and sales.
- adversity reveals genius, calm down and think more about your core business and product strategy, but not micro manage / play with your junior rookies.
