The Aspen Brands Company has some of the most genuine people I’ve had the pleasure of working with. A small company that initially saw success in the wedding favor industry now shifts into Baby and Wedding Shower décor and home décor. Kate Aspen specifically is on an encouraging path to growth and trend focused product offering in the home décor space which is very exciting. I’ve grown tremendously working with Aspen Brands and gotten a chance to learn a little bit about everything in the business. I would not be where I am today without flourishing with these wonderful people. There is opportunity for everyone’s voice to be heard and an overall desire to adapt to the landscapes of online retail. The hours are standard, and management is very flexible with appointments. DJ & Shirley are some of the best executives I've had the pleasure of working for. The management structure is efficient and responds well to challenges. Company is experiencing steady growth. 2020 was a difficult time for the wedding industry, but Aspen has positioned itself for growth over the next decade - which is great for continuity. Employees' needs are sufficiently addressed. Open door policy is solid - everyone has a chance to speak their mind. Which helps the company feel more in-tune with things that happen at each level. Location can't be beat either. Duluth & Norcross are pretty nice places to live - I actually moved to the area after taking the job and I was happy with the surrounding area. Hours are good too! Some people with different schedules were worked with to find a good balance between work and personal time. None really to speak of. I really enjoyed working with Aspen, and the company has good future prospects. Promoting from within goes a long way to keeping a solid business foundation. Turnover is inevitable, but keeping good people satisfied at the company will help the company stay engaged. Warehouse pay rates could be a little better. Work can be challenging at times, but colleagues are easy to work with. Overall a good team atmosphere. You'll receive important information way down the line of a project. Standards are not communicated until you fail to reach them.
