All though I gained many skills here it was a terrible work environment run by incompetent measley excuses for men. The owner was sleeping with the Sales department, the operations manager has no idea how to manage anything and the company collects no profit and pays their employees very low wages.

The management does not invest in their employees. Some mangers are allowed to be rude to the employees. While I was there I saw five good hard working employees leave because of the enviroment.

Family oriented company to work for, everyone is treated like family.

I got to work and started the day by going through my e-mails and looking through the day's work on my desk organizing it to be more efficient. Since we made calls all over the US I would make the calls for the east coast and Central Standard time until it 10am when the west coast companies would be open. I sent and received e-mails and faxes throughout the day. My co-workers were friendly and we all got along, we became friends and would chat on breaks and after work. The hardest part of the job was dealing with people who would not get us the information we needed to do our job in a timely manner and dealing with people who would treat us badly by using profanity. The most enjoyable part was knowing we were helping people to find a job by making sure all of their information was correct and being able to go the extra mile to help them out. I loved knowing I was making a difference in someone's life. There were times when we caught people lying about their education and employment history as well as criminal history. We were able to help our clients to find the right people for their company to hire which was also a really good feeling.

Being a single mom the flexability I have there is wonderful. If I need to leave to go get my kids from school if they are sick I have that ability. They believe family comes first. I have learned a lot about the process of background checks and how important it is to make sure all your information is accurate so the people doing the background can do their job efficiently and quickly. The hardest part of the job is dealing with applicants who have lied on their application and said they have degrees that they don't have or use references that don't know they are being used as a reference. It is not hard just frusterating. I love the people I work with we frequently have parties (lunches for birthdays and other special occasions) and sometimes the owner buys us all lunch just because. It is friendly and laid back.
