Had the opportunity to learn more recent versions of .net framework and what that entails. Gained experience with virtual servers and cloud based server infrastructure. Learned new technology, was trained on Sitecore CMS. Management was extremely variable - IT department was much larger at the start but shrank over tenure as company as a whole shrank leaving less staff to do the same or more workload. Too many disparate systems, not much thought put into how they interacted. Co-workers were fine to work with, no real complaints. Hardest parts were dealing with general lassitude of departments and not much communication between them. Sometimes projects were given that did not make a lot of sense but were forced to go through with them anyway.
