Nepotism and turnover

Lots of friends and family employed. Used to be better, now there's not much quality leadership, especially MarCom. Very strange atmosphere with little accountability.

I was a member of the Association of Legal Administrators for 3-5 years. It was a non-paying job. We would hold quarterly meetings with various Law Firms in the area to discuss various accounting principles

Productive workplace with amazing Executive Director and culture
|
ALA is an amazing place to work. They believe in promoting from within, and have a great workplace culture. The Executive Director is a genuinely caring person, and is also a very effective leader. My co-workers are hard working and kind. We have a great time, but definitely get things done. The workload can be a little overwhelming at times. It is also a small association, so the health benefits are expensive. Overall, it is truly a great place to work.
