There is a big communication barrier between the bosses in US and the local junior staff. Every senior profile in Karachi Office is trying to secure his/her job because of lack of market/industry exposure. I know on Monday, they will try to hunt me as well.
|
Hell of politics and favouritism, the local management is not technical and they dont know how to deal with the employees. There is absolutely no room for male staff, only females are ruling the whole company, the company bosses heavily rely on the local management and local management knows how to save their jobs by playing careers of the juniors. Majoritiy of the people are working with alot of discomfort because they have to run their kitchens. When you enter in the hall, you will feel that you are not a part of Astera but a part of Logicose, because one of the senior profile has the background of Logicose and he/she smartly brought all the friends in her office. HR creates drama of conducting initial test but this test is only applicable to fresh candidates only, the referred candidates get the answer sheet already before the test. Someone in the past put the similar kind of reviews and the local management got mad over it and tried to hunt that employee like crazy. Not an office but a jail!

- Best Environment, you can even discuss any of your personal or job-related issues with anyone, everyone is friendly except some (1 or 2)
- Male to female ratio is good which is not seen generally in Software Houses.
