|
-While management is continuously changing, the people who work at the hotel are generally nice and welcoming.
-if you can stand all of the issues the hotel has you can easily move up/and/or/around to different positions
-free lunch
-you may be able to stay in a room during mardi gras!
|
-Constantly changing management (5 different managers in 6 months)
-Inconsistent rules and regulations
-Lack of support from management
-Poor pay
-expensive healthcare (if you are lucky enough to get enrolled properly)
-deal with a tremendous amount of disrespect from drunk and/or just plain old crazy guest (bourbon st people)
-be ready to referee fights, clothe the nude, and deal with being the designated punching bag from angry guest
-lack of communication between shifts so a lot goes undone and the 3rd shift is left to clean up most of the issues (and as a result deal with a lot of frustrated guest)
-corporate is very cheap (as a result the hotel has a lot of issues with rooms, service, and/or lack there of)...
-filthy kitchen
-rodent infested building
-a/c and heat never works properly

over all it was a great place to work .the job pay was well,

on Sunday our boss bring boxes donuts ,we would talk about our kids ,ever day life
|
I was comforting in both good and bad times to work for company that is rated as one of beat workers,our work place was warm and open people tend to be themselves.our managers give us the latitude to rethink the way we do things everyday.
