A Company That Goes Above and Beyond!
The work is engaging and challenging, but my department does an excellent job of ensuring that there is a work/life balance. Leadership is always approachable, and genuinely care about their teams and the feedback they receive from each employee.
With the pandemic, we had to quickly move to a full-time remote status as a company. Even though we are all at home, the HR team did a great job to keep the feeling of a "team environment". They have gone out of their way to schedule events during lunch, like trivia. And after work, they have scheduled events hosted by different members of the executive team like Bingo, Yoga, Cooking, and other fun events. It was a great way to stay engaged and connected with team members that we no longer see on a day to day basis working from home.
Lastly, even with the pandemic and economic uncertainty they went above and beyond this year to put their employees first. It was just announced in late December that ALL employees would be getting a bonus, the 401K match was being increased, and they also sent each of us a gift in the mail for the holidays (A Yeti mug and T-Shirt).
I am very lucky to be a part of this team, and would highly recommend exploring them as an option for your next role.
While Asurint is growing, it is still a small company. Being a small company does come with some challenges. If you are used to working in a typical Fortune 500 size company, you will have to adjust to smaller budgets and smaller teams. However, leadership has always done a great job to make sure that we have all the tools that we need to successfully do our jobs, and also ensure we maintain a proper work life balance. With a smaller team, it also presents the opportunity for you to expand on your skillset and tackle projects outside of your comfort zone.

Feels like it's just going down

The people you directly work with tend to be good people and teammates support you.
The check cleared every payday.
Work life balance. You are expected to work well past your agreed hours due to lack of employees.
Lack of employees. Strains are put on teams and employees due to management not wanting to hire more.
Poor management. Management blatantly does not really care about the workers. Demands are made and responsibilities of multiple departments are placed on one person or team.
There are many many more cons.

Flexible and Engaging
When I first started at Asurint, I was attracted to the energy and excitement during the interview, but wasn't sure about the environment. Management seemed to be making changes towards a structured and professional environment. My observation, this bothered a lot of the organization that was used to doing what they wanted. I stayed with the organization as i have seen this company making great efforts to listen to employees, provide development, allow flexibility for work life balance and engage employees whether it is with training or social activities to have some fun. It seems the workload keeps some departments a little stressed but i can't help but feel that the workload indicates that we are still stable and strong during uncertain times. The company seemed to take an interest with how employees were adjusting and HR even called me to personally just see how I was doing. Large organizations can't compete with that! I like what is happening and look forward to where the future is going.
Turnover was high, which makes it difficult to learn when people kept leaving and nothing was documented. I did find that some of that turnover was good as negative people left.

Excellent job managing this economic downturn
Acted quickly (probably wasn't easy), communicated efficiently during the process (HR did a great job), moved to 100% remote (thank you IT) and continues to provide business updates and be open and transparent. I have friends in other companies that don't have any idea what is happening. Tough early start to 2020 but I feel confident in our leaders being able to manage the landscape and communicate changes to all of us.

I don't have any issues.

Great Place to Work!
Both senior and mid-level management are very receptive to new ideas. Management is very supportive and they have a true understanding for the need to have a work-life balance. Asurint has also adapted extremely well to the COVID pandemic and moving everyone into their home/remote office locations quickly and with all the necessary equipment.
Through no fault of the company, the con right now is not having face to face, in person contact with co-workers and managers, due to COVID. Although, we have leveraged Zoom really well and most everyone uses their cameras, which helps.

Innovative and rewarding place to work
Excellent transition during COVID 19 to work at home, we are continuing to work at home. Work environment is fun and rewarding, time off is great and allows for work-life balance, work is challenging and your ideas and solutions are valued. You can make a difference. My manager supports me and gives me feedback to improve my performance.

We are a lean team, which has caused stress as are volumes/workloads are increasing steadily.
