No job security
|
Overall
It is easy to get hired and easy to be let go from this company. They let people all the time through no fault of the employees. Be wary if you are offered a job here.

Boring Job with Zero Chance of Advancement
|
A typical day at work consisted of doing the same exact thing over and over again, 8 hours straight with barely a 15 minute break. My job was extremely repetitive and I practically had to BEG for more work or for something else to learn/get trained on. The only thing I leaned with this company is how to perform a background check, and that was learned within the first week of work. The management was OKAY, depending on who was your manager. They were all different, meaning some of the management was more relaxed while others were strict. The workplace culture was pretty normal. I could not name the hardest part of the job because there wasn't one.

Great place to remain stagnant
|
Asurint is an excellent place to start off as long as you never plan on advancing. The culture is non existant and the company itself has little regard for its employees well being.

Numbers-driven company with excellent people
|
Asurint is a pre-employment background screening company. I worked in the Operations facet of the company completing criminal background checks for our clients. As a Researcher, my job was to search through records on applicable cases, taking into consideration the individual needs and directions of each client. It is a job that demands skills in both time management and prioritization.
From my standpoint, I can say that Asurint's biggest asset is its employees. My teammates worked tirelessly to ensure that their work was compliant with company processes as well as state and federal regulations in regard to criminal background checks. Unfortunately, Researchers do not always reap the benefits of their hard work. Records Research is an entry-level position, and it is difficult to get an appropriate pay raise even for those who are consistently exceeding their personal goals and the goals set by the company and department. I know this because I am one of those people. It has also proven difficult to get promoted due to office politics. Employee satisfaction has been assessed through company-wide surveys, and the hope is that those surveys will lead to the betterment of job quality for those who feel underserved in their positions.
Asurint is a great starting point for people who like to challenge themselves in their own successes. There are opportunities for learning at every corner, and the people are exceptional.

Typical Customer Service Position
|
Not a horrible company. I enjoyed working at Asurint. I was depended on, which feels great. Days fly by, must be able to multi-task. Monday thru Friday shifts, the latest you are there is 8:00 p.m. and that is only 1 day out of the week, take turns with other teammates. I quit because they hired employees after me at a much higher salary. When I asked for a raise they could not match what they were paying the new hires that I was training. I looked for a better opportunity and left once I found one.

Giving out ice-cream once a month does not make up for the lack of pay for the amount of work that is expected. They don't even let you take a break for the ice-cream you must sit there and do work as they take photos to post them online of you eating the ice-cream. They rate you every week on an efficiency score 1-10. You are supposed to score a 7 and up. People cheat the system by locking orders that are easy or duplicates and achieve scores that are unrealistic. The dummy's in upper management praise them like they worked hard when in fact they only did about 10-15minn of real work. If you can figure out how to cheat the efficiency system its a great place to work for cause then you are only required to do 10-15minn of work per hour.

A good place for those willing to lose everything
|
If you are willing to sell your soul and work 50-70 hours per week to barely make their desired efficiency goals, then this place will be home for you.
