I am extremely grateful for the motivation I was given to reach beyond my current skillset and dive into areas that required me to become more efficient, creative and explore many different genres of sound than I might have. Jason and the team at Asylum Labs Inc are a tight crew with a very concise and developed workflow. I appreciated the interaction with everyone and being able to keep the level of professionalism and attention to project timelines while most members worked remotely, was eye opening and frankly, spoiled me for any future contracts at other companies. They really want what they build to be really interesting, and have a novel twist to it. This makes working with them fun and challenging. * They are good at making visually interesting elements. Even when working on more mundane items like simulation visualization, they strive to make it visually interesting. * Sometimes their desire to be really interesting and novel can go a little too far. They can get caught up in the details of trying to make everything interesting and novel instead of focusing on a few things. * Sometimes the visuals take precedence over the functionality. Not so much a con as an observation.
