private:atari https://www.glassdoor.com?employer_id=5515 Aug 19th, 2016 12:00AM Open Open Atari United States USA Meh A lot of good people trying to do good things. A lot of interesting IP. A lot of opportunity for motivated people. Unrealistic & unachievable expectations given constraints. Short cuts were taken on projects due to schedule and budget issues. A lot of fire drills. A lot of priorities shifting without actually thinking through consequences. -1.0 NEGATIVE 0.0 NEUTRAL 0.0 NO_OPINION 0.0 3.0 1.0 1.0 4.0 2.0 3.0 5515 Open Plot your course carefully and be realistic about what is achievable. Don't hold people accountable for things that you've signed up for that were never possibilities. 0.0 [] No No 0.0 Jan 8th, 2021 12:16AM Jan 8th, 2021 12:16AM Atari

private:atari https://www.glassdoor.com?employer_id=5515 Jun 24th, 2015 12:00AM Open Open Atari Scarsdale, NY Great Brand... Troubled Times Atari has some of the best classic IP for video game professionals to work on and a truly entrepreneurial environment to try new things. The company has been broken for years and managed by one incompetent team after another. Sadly several of the recent owners haven't cared enough to revive the brand to it's glory days. -1.0 NEGATIVE -1.0 NEGATIVE -1.0 DISAPPROVE 0.0 2.0 3.0 1.0 3.0 3.0 1.0 5515 Open I suggest you sell the company at a loss to someone who will optimize the brand and give consumers what they are looking for. 0.0 [] REGULAR No No 4.0 Jan 8th, 2021 12:16AM Jan 8th, 2021 12:16AM Atari

private:atari https://www.glassdoor.com?employer_id=5515 Jan 14th, 2014 12:00AM Open Open Atari United States USA Great place to work. I would work there again. A very creative environment and a challenging business to be in. Video, PC and App games are still a forward-thinking industry with room for expansion. There were frequent management changes resulting in a loss of direction. Also, there were times when no risk was taken as the company continued to shrink in the market. 1.0 POSITIVE 0.0 NEUTRAL 0.0 NO_OPINION 0.0 4.0 4.0 4.0 4.0 4.0 2.0 5515 Open Hopefully, new management will get the company on track. 0.0 [] REGULAR No No 6.0 Jan 8th, 2021 12:16AM Jan 8th, 2021 12:16AM Atari
private:atari https://www.glassdoor.com?employer_id=5515 Nov 19th, 2013 12:00AM Open Open Atari Los Angeles, CA A sad ending to a once great company The long and proud legacy of Atari still permeated the office, and there were some great people there who wanted to carry on. A bloated infrastructure and an executive team and board that were not with the times brought the company down. -1.0 NEGATIVE -1.0 NEGATIVE -1.0 DISAPPROVE 0.0 2.0 4.0 4.0 1.0 4.0 2.0 5515 Open 0.0 [] REGULAR No No 2.0 Jan 8th, 2021 12:16AM Jan 8th, 2021 12:16AM Atari
private:atari https://www.glassdoor.com?employer_id=5515 Jun 20th, 2013 12:00AM Open Open Atari Los Angeles, CA Soul-less Amazing Pay. Golden handcuffs. Everyone that was not a vice-something was nice-hearted. Mostly due to a lack of money, nothing of quality could get done. Because of this feeling, no one felt inspired to find creative solutions. Super corporate, very political, and very emotional. Note to anyone getting an executive/vice-something position: It was often said that having an office meant you were cursed to get fired within a year. -1.0 NEGATIVE -1.0 NEGATIVE -1.0 DISAPPROVE 0.0 2.0 3.0 1.0 2.0 5.0 2.0 5515 Open Good luck 0.0 [] REGULAR No No 2.0 Jan 8th, 2021 12:16AM Jan 8th, 2021 12:16AM Atari
