Difficult Company to Work For
|
The culture at ATEL is mainly one of fear of leadership. While many of the employees are fantastic people and are great to work with, they are not treated with respect by leaders of the company. Turnover is extremely high. As a former employee, I would not recommend working for ATEL.

Professional environment. Collaborative group. Good one on one training. Fun events and parties with food every Friday, bagels on friday morning, and holidays. Monthly cake days, game days, enjoyed the decorations and festive atmosphere they created for special occasions.

The 8 terrific years breaking sales records and then making new ones and crushing even those for ATEL Capital Group prepared me for even more in life. My experience learning, growing, being trusted to be the first-ever internal sales professional to be allowed to outside sales and traveling all over the western U.S. for the firm was magnificent. Our workplace culture was a serious one, as we were in both the banking and securities arena for Fortune 500 companies to helping them with financing capital equipment and creating investment opportunities for Advisors' clients. This was a firm that allowed me to utilize absolutely all of my skill-set and develop talents I did not even realize were within me. I am forever =grateful and remain in touch with those coworkers even today.

Great group of people

I have had a wonderful time working here at ATEL over the years, made many close friends.
The work isn't too hard, however, there needs to be more incentives for people that work hard. It seems like a few hard workers have to carry the weight of others at times. That's not necessarily a bad thing, however, they should get recognized with raises and bonuses. That might actually motivate everyone to work harder and may make this company more successful.
Also, some positions are grossly underpaid, if they gave at least market value, it may boost morale for the employees.

Terrific company with excellent work life balance and wonderful for self starters. The job is challenging and I learn a lot from the employees around me. You have to be a self starter to be successful. It is not a place for slugs

Has been great Learning and Growing with ATEL

I love my job! I'm pretty sure it's mostly due to my manager, who is not only a great mentor but always very supportive and approachable whenever I need. She takes every oppurtunity to teach and expand my knowledge as an HR professional. She recognizes me when I do well, and always shows her appreciation of my strong work ethic, which makes me just want to work harder.
I like that no 2 days are the same, I'm constantly busy but love the multitasking and freedom to work the way I want, this makes me most efficient.
I enjoy working with the people in the company. I have made some great friends here at ATEL.
I am constantly learning in this role, and hope to continue learning about the HR world and grow in this field over the coming years.

I have worked with several employees of this firm and he overwhelming consensus is to STAY AWAY. Extremely unprofessional and unethical firm. Poorly run funds and the most astronomical turnover rate I've ever heard of.
