- Overworked and underpaid
- HORRIBLE management. Inexperienced, act like children, and talk poorly about coworkers behind their back
- CEO asked someone on their internal team to reach out to workers to bump up their glassdoor review
- They hire friends over competent workers who know & understand the job
- Micromanaged work culture
- Most people in their positions did not sign up for the job, they just rotate workers where they need
- They try not to fire people so they don't make reviews like this, but threaten PIPs constantly

Athelas has been a blast! When I first applied I didn’t know what to expect but I’ve been pleased to find a group of hardworking, smart, and talented individuals. Our product is great and it actually makes a difference in the world. Athelas is a place you can learn, grow, and create.

I don’t consider these cons but it’s worth mentioning for folks who are looking into Athelas. Be prepared to travel between 20-30% of the month. Travel expenses are paid by the company so don’t worry about that. Our team moves fast but the hiring process might take 1-2 months. As of right now we operate on a lot of different platforms so it’s important to be organized.

The people. I've never worked somewhere where I feel like everyone is working towards the same goal. There are people in every department who are willing to step I and support however needed.
|
Training is more of a "learn as you go". But I will say, I probably learned a LOT more that way than sitting through courses. It can definitely be improved but they are transparent about it.
