Spent more time estimating work than actually working.
No company culture.
There's a strong feeling of management treating employees as expendable. One entire dev team was replaced; only the manager had experience in the codebase.

Enjoyable coworkers and supportive management, but not the most rewarding work
|
While working remotely I was able to work at anytime of the day and any day of the week so long as I met my minimum hours for a week. Management was supportive and nearly always accessible. If you put in the effort you will be recognized. I enjoyed my time there even if the work itself was extremely tedious.

They advertise as a start-up but they have been in business for well over 20 years. Their internal and external software is antiquated to say the least. Athenium was recently acquired when I left, but I doubt the quality of the establishment has increased much since then.
