There are some really great people working here. Good culture of fitness and family. Middle-management is rock solid, and they know the industry and how to care for people. Upper management has focused on the wrong areas of the business, causing our core to fall badly behind the times. There is a good core group of employees who work hard and care about helping each other, and putting out a good product and services for clients and users. Upper management is a mess and does not take ownership of failures. Lots of active people to work out with. Lack of focus and upper management changing direction at the drop of a hat pits everyone against each other. Lots of people coasting along and lots of throwing each other under the bus to turn the spotlight away from underachievement. You won't learn much here except survival skills. Really hard to get behind the product mission here, people do a few races in their life so developing a social network/claim your result/services is just too far and few between to generate a lasting user base. We were seeing this day in and day out on the product side. Meathead and Bro Leadership. This is really your only path forward, hard work won't get you as far as talking about bike components or how much time you spent at the gym. The tech stack is a nightmare, overly complex and plagued with legacy systems. Very few (if any) people on the product team or leadership actually believe that the product strategy will be a success, most of the teams are really in coast mode and maybe I should add this to the Pros list, but this is an incredible place to coast (because everyone is doing it!) Social media plays are in decline, the ones that are winning are all photography focused, Instagram/Snap. This company violated the Colorado Wage Act 3 times in the 2017 2018 time frame. The management makes a drastic change of direction several times per year.
