Favouritism is in your face as to how people are treated.

Atrium medical Now named Getinge was a good place to work until it was sold, their were some improvement after the sale. But
Management mostly promotes friends, has little compassion for production staff, family and work place balance. Open door policy is only welcome if it's something positive. If you voice your concerns to HR you are transferred to a different department instead of correcting the underlined problem. Or told to call corporate HR not much is taken care of at this building. When they start getting rid of dead weight at the upper levels this would trickle down to the lower levels of management, This company may return to being a good place to work.
Instead of a rumor mill, lazy line leads & liars. On first shift.

Not too much good to say about this company, they pile work on top of you, when you go on your breaks, the team leaders stay and pile work on top of your stations, so when you get back, you are behind before you even begin your work, they only care about their numbers, nothing else matters to them!

- Come in, get to your designated work area, clean the area and prepare any equipment you may need ahead of time and work non-stop until you are either ahead of the flow and you can relax a little or until break is called or it's time to leave.
- Understanding the most efficient means in which to move your body to streamline the process and reduce the amount of energy you use will help you yield the best and most consistent level of work as your shift goes on
- Management is there to talk to when you are in a pinch but ultimately it's everyone's job to focus on the task at hand
- Being able to function in every area of the process allows for people to help out when others are in trouble and while excelling in your area is good, overproduction on your step can cause a mess and clog up the process if you overwhelm other people on your team
- Between the nonstop work, the carpal tunnel and back pain, the hardest part of working third shift is only really having a day and a half off. You have to be on top of eating regularly and not oversleeping due to exhaustion as vitamin deficiency from missing multiple meals leads to anemia and other health concerns.
- The pay was relatively nice for the time
