Succeeds despite frivolous, arrogant CEO

Great, committed co-workers who take their job seriously.

Absurdly low pay, scatterbrained corner office, CEO is insecure and can't handle workers who have talent, insight or value to add in strategic areas or company direction. Great job starting the company, great assembly of talent, but the man is not a genius and basically is in over his head running an insurance entity. The company surprisingly does well despite his many mis-steps and crazy schemes, which attests to the quality of all sub-CEO staff.
