The people who actually bust their butts to do great work aren't the ones recognized. Everyone is all about throwing each other under the bus when the opportunity arises, and leadership trashes all lower level employees as if they are totally useless. If someone thinks they can get a come-up from getting you fired or making you look stupid, they won't hesitate. HR is a joke, and you won't get anywhere in this company unless you're okay with stepping on a lot of people. -1.0 NEGATIVE -1.0 NEGATIVE -1.0 DISAPPROVE 5.0 1.0 2.0 1.0 2.0 1.0 1.0 613987 Open Offer more real support, training and positive reinforcement. private:augustineideas https://www.glassdoor.com?employer_id=613987 Dec 5th, 2019 12:00AM Open Open Augustine Account Coordinator Irving, TX Position in the account services department of Augustine Augustine is a very welcoming company that has a strong sense of community which reflects on the quality of work that is created. One of the best things about working at Augustine is the management. Managers are very understanding and constantly searching for ways to improve processes and projects. They make sure everyone’s voice is equally heard, and never miss an opportunity to elevate company moral. Augustine is an excellent company to work for, and as an employee I recommend anyone interested to apply. You will encounter traffic sometimes if coming from or going to Dallas. 1.0 POSITIVE 0.0 NEUTRAL 1.0 APPROVE 0.0 5.0 5.0 5.0 5.0 5.0 5.0 613987 Open 0.0 [] REGULAR No Yes 1.0 Jan 8th, 2021 08:44AM Jan 8th, 2021 08:44AM AugustineIdeas

private:augustineideas https://www.glassdoor.com?employer_id=613987 Nov 5th, 2019 12:00AM Open Open Augustine Senior Client Business Analyst Dallas, TX Good People Doing Good Work with Good People One of the first things the President said when I interviewed with him was, "I don't care about blame, I care about solutions." During that interview he also said, "...you can change anything you want to as long as you have 100% agreement from the people involved." I've only been here 6 months, but those words exemplify the work environment here to a "T". The leadership team leads by example, my teammates laugh together even when we are stressed, it's been the best work experience overall of my career. We've made 10 hires over the last few months, and only one was to replace someone who'd been let go. The rest of the new hires resulted from existing clients giving us more business, so we must be doing something right (and as of November 2019, we are still hiring). This is tough, the biggest con for me is that I don't live closer. I hate driving but I have to admit the reverse-commute from uptown is actually pretty easy. 1.0 POSITIVE 1.0 POSITIVE 1.0 APPROVE 0.0 5.0 5.0 5.0 5.0 5.0 5.0 613987 Open Keep the Auggie spirit & Carry On! 0.0 [] REGULAR No Yes 1.0 Jan 8th, 2021 08:44AM Jan 8th, 2021 08:44AM AugustineIdeas
private:augustineideas https://www.glassdoor.com?employer_id=613987 Nov 4th, 2019 12:00AM Open Open Augustine Account Director Roseville, CA Getting Better The pay is good and there's a multitude of ways to get more involved and experience/learn more. You can tell senior leadership cares about the staff and the future of the agency. There's a lack of processes and positions in place, which can make for inefficient use of time and unneeded stress. And while it's getting better, the level of positivity could be increased. -1.0 NEGATIVE 1.0 POSITIVE 1.0 APPROVE 0.0 3.0 2.0 3.0 4.0 4.0 4.0 613987 Open Implement defined roles so it's clear who should do what - they exist, but they don't feel like they're implemented as best as they could be. Listen to staff on what roles are needed to ensure staff isn't spread too thin and clients are receiving the best possible service. Also, we should secure clients with larger budgets, as they all take the same amount of work as a smaller client. This will reduce stress and make work-life balance more attainable. 0.0 [] REGULAR No Yes 20.0 Jan 8th, 2021 08:44AM Jan 8th, 2021 08:44AM AugustineIdeas

private:augustineideas https://www.glassdoor.com?employer_id=613987 Sep 17th, 2019 12:00AM Open Open Augustine Anonymous Employee Dallas, TX Don't believe the good reviews and HR responses Week off for Christmas (Work dependent though) Augustine is one of the worst places I've ever worked. As a creative, you are literally the bottom of the barrel even though you do all the work. If you push back on the account team, it comes back to bite you in the butt. The days off for holidays are all work dependent and the account team always insists on putting in a last-minute request instead of pushing back on the client. The account team is favored and out on a pedestal. They have no rules and can do whatever they want. The team is constantly being walked all over and took advantage of. There is a ton of cliques in the office and if you're not one of "them", you might as well just quit now. They try to push working as a team but the office is split in two and it's always Accounts vs. Creative. The two teams are never one and it shows. Things are constantly slid under the rug and when there's a bad review on here, there are fake reviews posted by current employees to push the bad reviews down. The turnover rate is insane and it's a constant revolving door. Gossip is really bad. -1.0 NEGATIVE -1.0 NEGATIVE 0.0 NO_OPINION 12.0 1.0 1.0 1.0 1.0 2.0 1.0 613987 Open Hire more employees. Respect your creatives more. Encourage teams to work together and not against each other. Listen to why employees quit and pay attention to why past employees have been fired and the similarities between all of them. Don't try to hide things from employees. Everyone finds out either way so it's better to be upfront and honest instead of everything being heard through gossip and whispers. 0.0 [] REGULAR No No 0.0 Jan 8th, 2021 08:44AM Jan 8th, 2021 08:44AM AugustineIdeas
private:augustineideas https://www.glassdoor.com?employer_id=613987 Aug 11th, 2019 12:00AM Open Open Augustine Account Director Dallas, TX Big Things Are Happening! Augustine is growing like crazy! As the agency grows, and client's needs change and evolve it creates an awesome opportunity for employees to gain experience with many different types of projects. We have strong relationships with our clients, and our Stakeholders are very committed to ensuring that we have what we need from a staffing, and technology standpoint to continue fostering success. Since we are growing so fast (especially in Dallas) it means everyday can look a little different and require the team to be strategic and flexible, which also allows all employees (no matter their title) to help shape their role and future with the agency. We will have gone from 10-12 people when I started two years ago to nearly 30 by the end of 2019. I am really excited about the future of the agency, but especially where we are headed with the Dallas office. We have awesome benefits and we are building a killer team to support our great clients. We are running out of room in our Dallas office haha! Any company has growing pains, but honestly leadership has been doing everything possible to remove obstacles or pain points as they have come up. 1.0 POSITIVE 1.0 POSITIVE 1.0 APPROVE 2.0 5.0 5.0 5.0 5.0 5.0 5.0 613987 Open Keep listening and being open to suggestions/recommendations from employees when it makes sense. 0.0 [] REGULAR No Yes 2.0 Jan 8th, 2021 08:44AM Jan 8th, 2021 08:44AM AugustineIdeas

Future applicants may notice that there have been several new positive reviews all within a few months which are a result of this initiative. Current employees are being encouraged to post positive reviews when they may otherwise not wish to leave one. But it’s hard to tell your current employer you’d rather not leave a positive review. Not only are they desperate for better reviews, they are also desperate to push down a particularly blunt review posted in April of this year. Regardless of the current reviews, I would encourage potential applicants to read all of the posted reviews. Over the last decade there have been plenty examples that illustrate the cycle at Augustine. 1) Things are going ok. 2) Management tries to do more with less. 3) Things go to hell. 4) Deny Deny Deny 5) They actually have to do something to improve their treatment of employees. The cycle repeats. Most time is spent between 2 and 4 and is particularly unbearable for employees. If you read all of the reviews you will see this play out over and over. Currently it appears they are in stage 4, where instead of addressing problems and making changes they place employees in awkward situations where they are asked to post reviews. The point of this platform is to hold employers accountable for bad practices and show appreciation for companies who do it right. If you don’t like the feedback you are receiving look inward not outward, you’ve been here so many times before. And before HR responds to this with how sorry they are to hear about my experience at Augustine, and that they would love to discuss it with me further. I know you’re just doing what’s asked of you, but I offered to speak with the CEO when I was there, he wasn’t interested. Because they aren’t interested in improving, they’re interested in sweeping it under the rug. 0.0 [{"countHelpful": 0, "languageId": "eng", "userJobTitle": "Human Resources Department", "__typename": "EmployerResponse", "originalLanguageId": null, "id": 2254948, "responseDateTime": "2019-07-31T11:47:10.32", "translationMethod": null, "response": "Hello,\r\n\r\nI\u2019m sorry to hear that your job experience was unsatisfactory.
