There's no training for management so you'll get someone who peaked in school trying to manage adult issues in the real world. There are cliques and extreme political views. It's not entirely unexpected to hear shouting matches and whoever has seniority doesn't get disciplined for their bad behavior or for creating a hostile work environment. If you have a family, kids, or take care of an elderly family member, you will be disciplined or terminated for requesting time off to take care of them. You have other options. Too many inquisitions in a short time. Cocky attitude in whom they do business with. If you are on the light end of payment to the company others that pay more get priority. Employees are placed in positions they are not qualified for. You could be very good at what you do but let got for absurd reasons. Upper management is not engaged on what is done daily and the amount of effort that is put in. Upper management throws lip service in telling employees you are family then does nothing to make things better. Pay is on the low end for the amount of work and dedication expected. From a customer standpoint go elsewhere as Aunalytics is one of the most expensive msp's and the value doesn't add up to what you get. From an employee stand point if you want to worry about your position daily even though you are excellent at what you do, you are gone. No questions asked. The problem statements I have worked on are challenging and there is always something new to learn. The flexibility and freedom to make decisions has allowed me to grow as a technical person as well as a leader. Office politics are held in a manner of disguising themselves as friendly coworkers who just want to help out, but as soon as you leave the room will find someone to drag your name through the mud to. Which shouldn't reflect on a company setting as it's strictly an individual, but what makes this stand out is that management will take the slander/libel to heart and make decisions based on hearsay because said person has seniority. You'll learn a lot of cool technology quick, because you're expected to do the same level of work as someone paid 3-4x higher than you, even though there are separate queues. During the time I was at this company, I overheard multiple people discussing how poorly this company pays compared to the going rate of someone with their skills, and expressed a strong desire to leave as soon as they find something that fulfils what they're looking for. The key takeaway I had from my employment at this company is that everyone will act like they're your friend, up until it is no longer beneficial to them. Which I guess is a good thing, since I'm no longer afraid to speak up for myself and buckle down on a decision I believe is right.
