The only pro for Aurora is the fact that their equipment actually does help in the early detection of breast cancer.

Poor management, company is bankrupt and skimming by. No room for advancement. They have poorly managed this company from the start and ran it into the ground. The CEO & investors have run away and now they are scrambling to stay afloat..

The people working there were wonderful. The work that was being done was amazing. The technology was second to none.

The upper management didn't care about the employees and would insult or belittle them. The CEO stated a few times that we should be happy to even have a job, and were we in China that we wouldn't care about the fact that our pay was being cut or our hours cut back.

Unfortunate leadership decisions ruined its potential.

The people at Aurora were amazing. Pleasant to work with, hard working and they care about the company. They company product is ahead of the curve in regards to comparable products, and it is good knowing that what you helped achieve helped save lives.
|
Unfortunately, there are a few. There's no promotions from within. No recognition of a job well done from upper management. An obvious lack of leadership and a comprehensive business plan. There are no raises(and I don't mean small 1% or 2%... I mean 0% raises or bonuses. Upper management makes it very clear to the employees that they expect more work for less compensation.

Learn to take care of your people. People are the most important asset that a company has. Make them part of the inner workings of the company, don't just lie to them to make them feel more comfortable. Project a better and more positive outlook. Don't just say things are positive.. show that. Don't storm around the office yelling. Accept criticism and know your limitations.
