No day is the same, in IT we have a lab so you can play and learn what you want if its in there. There is always work to be found you just have to ask or look for it. We have day to day duties but if you want to learn something new people are more than willing to teach.

I was a temp employee for 5 years. I was laid off without the opportunity of finding a position with equal pay. Over the years I'd apply for other positions but never got interviews or wasn't selected. I was in the customer solutions department and it became clear advancement would only happen if you were liked. Opportunities to be creative were limited and you were looked down upon to show leadership.

Everyone talks about you having a permanent job with the city ....This is not true....
You will work for appleone for a very long time... And then even the staff that works there full time as city employees customer service are trying to leave for other departments. The lead positions go unfilled internally and have to be posted externally...
Because customer blast you even though you are trying to help them... This is a bait and switch job...Run by appleone....
