Poor management, unprofessional leaders, management have no respect and speak poorly to their employees. Management threaten their employees and get talked down. This company is full of families working together. This place is a dump and need major cleaning! I’m praying that Ascension get rid of ALL the managers working under ABS roof and find new qualifying managers to take over. Some professional leaders.

Respect your employee and learn how to be professional. Just cause you been at this company for more than 20 years and know the original owner doesn’t give you any rights to treat others like crap. Stop the favoritism and trash talking!

There is a 7.5 hour work day. Um...thinking...thinking...thinking. Nope, that's all I've got.
The building is an absolute dump, similar to a penitentiary. Management truly is the worst I've ever experienced. I've never seen so many unqualified, incompetent managers under one roof. If Ascension is smart, they will replace all of the managers with Ascension managers. Management is like a cancer in this place. Micromanagement, back stabbing, and tattletaling are part of the corporate culture. Minimal PTO for two years. No sick time. You get written up if you get sick and use up your PTO. It's an absolute joke.

Quit. Get rid of all of the people here on the ABS friends and family plan. Come into the year 2017. Renovate or relocate. Hire better quality staff. Invest in your people and in in the building. It's depressing.

CSR- SMARTHHEALTH MEDICAL PLAN
Some of the best reasons to work their is if your down on luck and no other places of options for employment. They offer competitive pay, and entry level experience. This is a great place for someone just starting to join the health insurance employee market. Great benefits for medical and 401k.
If you are looking for advancement opportunities please keep looking. Wont happen here unless you are a friend of a friend someone's wife, girlfriend just PLAIN family and friends only get management positions and growth opportunities. The work environment is very unethical when it comes to equal opportunities for growth. There is a high amount of favoritism shown from mid-level and upper management. The Team leads don't have a clue making it hard for you to do your job as a CSR. They have a suggestion box that's a joke. Things that need addressed and changed are not. All of the management upper and mid level love to play the blame game when a call is handled wrong. They expect every call to be handle with perfection. The director undermines and demeans the staff, she just throws team morale out the window and upper and mid level managers NEVER give recognition to staff who go above or beyond. Working late Tuesdays and Fridays every 6 weeks they don't even tell you about in the interview. you only get 10days a year off for PTO. I feel bad for the customers who's issues are not being handled as priority because upper and mid level management comes from friends and family members who have no fear of losing their jobs. They actually have team leaders who have no prior call center experience qualifications of skills. A leader cant lead until they have been led. There is no where to park near the building most of the time. You have to park at other business and walk to the location. The Smart health Supervisors are the worst. They work against you, never willing to help, walking to their desks for help is dreadful because their body language and actions let you know they don't want to help you or be bothered with you. Pay increases are about 32 cents a year. The list goes on

My advice to management is to replace all staff that are unqualified or those who hold a management position because they are a friend or family member, with more qualified and unrelated people. Change the training structure. Cant have unqualified managers training new employees. Implement a bonus structure or incentive plan. The Christmas luncheon and summer BBQ and pizza every blue moon is nice and all but employees should always be shown appreciation and recognition not ONLY JUST on special occasion. Lastly, stop allowing money to be collected office wide for other peoples matters that should be done by team only. Donations are always ok but there is a more professional way to go about it.

Health Benefit premiums are better than most. Enjoyed helping and educating those that called in.
Management states they have an "open door policy". It's more of a "sweep it under the rug" policy. If you do report anything, be aware of repercussions and nothing being done about it. There is no trust among your co-workers and management.
No advancement opportunity unless your are a relative or a friend of a relative. Those that do get promoted lack knowledge and education and could not perform their job duties that they were hired for to begin with.
Employees are overworked. There is no validation for doing your job well. They tend to dwell on negativity. Employees that are relatives and friends of relatives, receive favoritism, while the real employees are stuck cleaning up after their mistakes or negligence.
The atmosphere is very intense. Training is lacking in knowledge, experience, and professionalism.
Had to increase dosage of anxiety medication and begin therapy in order to deal with the stress. My need for employment temporarily outweighs the cons.

Trust your employees. Quit lying and stabbing them in the back. Your employees that work hard are not stupid to your ways and do not trust you in return.
Someone new from the "outside" world needs to come in and "clean house". Also, enforce the "front page rule" amongst all employees. Do not be afraid to hold everyone accountable for their mistakes including those under the family/friend policy.
Quit negotiating higher pay for new employees. Your current employees already know you do this and it just adds more tension and resentment to the work environment. Money spent on new employees, training, and not meeting contractual expectations, should be spent on the employees that do work hard and deserve validation.

Horrible place to work at very family and friends based only promote within family and friends and over look minorities.
There are not any pros at this place at all read the reviews before you sign on any dotted line for employment.
This is a horrible place to work. You can not trust anyone here not even the team leads. The work is so overwhelming and there is never any good feedback from management. The lack of corporation of the coworkers to complete there job falls back on the incident coworkers to clean up there mess and there is so response from management regarding that issue amongst over concerns. Concerns over looked by management, hr, and CEO. There is no open door policy. Do your research people.
