Initial pay as a sales associate was well above minimum wage
Genuinely enjoy the product
Sometimes got free products when they were non-go-forward
Some coworkers are nice.
Was able to move onto the HQ team after 3.5 years of working at retail stores.

Away selfishly laid off entire teams to hire off-shore support instead of supporting USA-based employees. Cheap labor = cheap results. Good luck cleaning up FCR's mess!!!!!!
Away is not as diverse as they portray. The stores I visited were full of White upper MGMT and POC supervisors and employees.
Transphobic and blatant lack of respect for women in certain retail spaces I visited.
Barely given PTO to *actually* travel
Benefits constantly changing, lack of support for "low-level" employees within retail spaces
Huge GAP between the retail & online HQ teams - lack of communication. Each team sees the other as "competition" or has little to no respect for them. I can recall dozens of times on each team when coworkers said the other team didn't know how to do their job.
