First thing, Eric Ayzenberg has created an awesome and beautiful workspace. The one thing that allowed me to wake up early and head into the office everyday , even during covid times, was the fact that I knew I was heading into the best workspace I have ever worked in. The 2nd thing that kept me going were my coworkers, that were like family. I will never forget the memories we made. Finally, Eric's willingness to always keep up with the latest trends and making sure that all the employees had the latest and greatest tech equipment and software. As the Systems Manager here at Ayzenberg it was awesome to have the ability to always make sure that everyone had all the equipment and software to keep moving with the times. I would always here complaints from exiting employees but I always thought to myself, the don't know that the grass isn't greener on the other side. Sure enough, those same employees that were bad mouthing the company on their way out were coming back in freelance or fulltime capacities a few months to a year later. Every company has it's ups and downs but I've worked in different industries and I realized how spoile we were at Ayzenberg compared to anywhere else. 1.0 POSITIVE 1.0 POSITIVE 1.0 APPROVE 0.0 5.0 3.0 5.0 5.0 5.0 3.0 5.0 30114 Open Work-life balance was one of the biggest things that I would always hear that needed improvement. I feel like management needs to make a bigger push to have people come back into the office and enjoy working again side by side with others to make sure Ayzenberg can rebound from some dips recently. 0.0 [] REGULAR No No 6.0 Open Apr 7th, 2024 08:40PM Apr 7th, 2024 08:40PM Ayzenberg

private:ayzenberg https://www.glassdoor.com?employer_id=30114 Nov 7th, 2023 12:00AM Open Open Ayzenberg Advertising Hardworking employees with poor leadership - Benefits are fantastic and the pay is decent. - Cool and friendly people for the most part with all types of career experiences to learn from. - Monthly talks with interesting and thought provoking guest speakers. - Known brands in the gaming and tech space. - Hybrid work environment with a good location. - Like others have mentioned, toxic positivity was the culture that seemed to trump everything else, shut up and smile. - Executives at the agency seems to be out of touch with the current state of advertising and would rather focus on how they have done things for years rather then listen to others experiences. - Massive layoffs of Jr, Mid and Sr. level employees while no one from the leadership team seemed to take any responsibility for the agencies performance. - The pathway to raises and promotions felt like navigating the pacific with no map or compass. - Employees with long tenures who have spent their entire career's at the same agency is great but many times that rigidity caused a lack of innovation or change of process and felt like it was their way or the highway. -1.0 NEGATIVE -1.0 NEGATIVE 0.0 NO_OPINION 0.0 3.0 3.0 2.0 2.0 4.0 1.0 2.0 30114 Open - Listen to those who have had experiences at other agencies (big and small) and try not to dismiss those experiences leaving them to feel like they have no idea what they are talking about. - Be transparent to the greatest extent that's possible. Employees should at least feel a tiny bit like they understand the direction the agency is going in. - Focus on clients and what they hired the agency for, pull back on constantly trying to upsell services to them they are not asking for or need. - Stop gaslighting. 0.0 [] REGULAR No No 4.0 Open Nov 11th, 2023 04:42PM Nov 11th, 2023 04:42PM Ayzenberg

private:ayzenberg https://www.glassdoor.com?employer_id=30114 Aug 30th, 2023 12:00AM Open Open Ayzenberg Strategy Analyst Pasadena, CA Absurd. Run like it's still the 80's Top-tier benefits. Fancy office. Long legacy. Great boots-on-the-ground coworkers. Major clients, if you're into gaming. An insurmountable amount of chaos surrounds this place. People are dropping like flies, either from lay-offs or resignation. Incompetent and insecure leadership leads to hours and hours worth of useless meetings every week. Over-processization causing unnecessary confusion, discussions, team friction, work overhauls, etc. Took many cooks in the kitchen makes it challenging to drill in and do quality work. Lots of empty promises to clients, and a weird obsession with "industry innovation" and "thought leadership" despite harboring extremely out-of-touch practices and POVs. No women of color (or women at all, for that matter) in executive leadership, and they didn't respect the few they had a few years back. Doesn't feel good to admit I worked here. -1.0 NEGATIVE -1.0 NEGATIVE -1.0 DISAPPROVE 0.0 2.0 3.0 1.0 1.0 3.0 1.0 1.0 30114 Open Burn it all down and start over. Trust your employees to do the work you hired them for. Seek and hire other perspectives (i.e. women? people of color? anyone under the age of 45?) in executive-level positions, and actually treat them as equals when you do. It's not 1985 anymore. 0.0 [] REGULAR No No 4.0 Open Sep 1st, 2023 10:48AM Sep 1st, 2023 10:48AM Ayzenberg
