Managements seems confused and disorganized, switching back and forth between hiring and firing within weeks. It's a friendly bunch that made my days there very enjoyable. Friendly teams, good developers, regular Friday pub lunches, fortnightly Friday night drinks. Not many projects, but mostly long running ones, some big ones and quite interesting ones too. There seems to be quite a disconnect between management and staff. Resourcing seems very short sighted, badly planned and always on the edge. Waves of desperate hiring sprees followed by spontaneously firing people only weeks later. Not well communicated either. I've had more growth and direction since I've been here (5 months) than in my previous years at my previous employer. They never let anything get in the way of trying to solve problems (be it internal or external). Unconstrained in their thinking. They try to do the best for the client - they genuinely care. And they know how to build digital products that truly provide a great experience for the client and their customers. As we grow, we come across new territories of how to run the business. This requires time and expertise. Relaxed culture and dress code, so casual sometimes people bring their dog to work! Every staff member has full autonomy - they are trusted to work when and how they want. If you are sick, there is no need to bring a medical certificate as b2cloud treats you like an adult and trusts you. Free fruit every week and drinks & snacks at fortnightly drinks. A very positive culture, everyone is great friends and we have a lot of social events and a futsal team. A very diverse group of people who are the smartest people I have ever met! A huge amount of flexibility in terms of hours and working from home. The ability to get involved in all aspects of the business, not just my own domain. We work hard, but have fun as well. Really supportive leadership team. Really agile - whenever we come up against a problem, we think of really innovative ways around it as a business. I've referred several friends in, which I wouldn't do if I didn't love it here.
