Without each other our heads probably would have popped off from the unorganized and cheap establishment we were dealing with. Yeah just the technicians were the only good part. I guess also you get 50% off products Lowest paying massage job of my entire life Not enough towels and products - always short on everything and have to skip things we are supposed to do for clients Uses Groupon - which means it brings the cheapest people who do not tip Hire some people at front desk that are not friendly Having a pool is a liability had a guest getting married the next day and slipped in pool area with giant gash on forehead Emotionally unstable/unprofessional manager Piping and roach issues Didn't have cameras that worked so things got stolen from the spa all the time and they did nothing about it -1.0 NEGATIVE 0.0 2.0 0.0 0.0 0.0 0.0 0.0 922112 Open Run a mental background check on management and do not use Groupon if you care about your employees even 1% or even about your company 1%. So many people have quit and the revolving doors of new employees gets exhaustative. Company is growing. The space is beautiful. The location is close to all transportation systems. Always had what I needed. My manager was flexible. My pay was consistent. They do not have a license to do massage, and I was sent home without a return date. Ohhh were to begin........ 1. Management lacks organization and communication skills. They will schedule you on days you are not available without letting you know and when not showing up for your shift they will either fire you or write you up and consider it a "no call no show". 2. With the lack of communication management will not let staff know about changes to the spa or company. 3. Everyone is to follow the "handbook and company policy list" however,when hired you are not provided this list or booklet so management will tell you one thing but someone else another thing and say it's in the employee handbook. 3. Company does not do direct deposit for pay checks because of owners past. 4. Because of no direct deposit checks are late 2-3 days after they are due. This has happened 3 times for the time I worked for the company. 5. Company does not stock treatment rooms with enough product. 6. Company takes a LONG time to fix any repairs. 7. Good luck trying to get workers comp if hurt on the job here. They will take you to court and say it's your fault when it was clear they have ignored warning signs that they needed to repair the floor or tiles. 8. Management/ owners "forgot"to renew their massage license recently and has laid off massage therapist due to their actions. 9. Company offers too many vouchers/deals for guest that the guest will not tip the right amount because they are trying to save a buck. 10. Money is spent in all the wrong places for this company and instead of trying to improve they are getting worse. The company runs deals via Living Social or some other online deal site to keep customers coming in the door. This did not allow the staff build a strong list of regular, full paying guests.
