Lots of internal promotions of staff that has very little experience but are willing to say yes to anything without questioning why or if it is really the best thing. A so called leader that twist and turns things to make himself look good.

Mostly great coworkers and depending on the team you might also have a really good manager.
|
- Macho culture with a lot of promoting based on knowing the right person rather than who is suitable for the role, especially when it comes to managerial roles. - Pay is in favour if you are male and women often get paid less, even if they have more experience than other male coworker (this within the same team and not comparing against other roles). It seems like it matters more what company you used to work for rather than the experience itself. - Claiming you are able to negotiate your pay when you are joining or if you are getting a promotion, this is not the case and you are often getting a salary and there is no room to discuss this further.

Riddled with politics and mediocre leadership, at best

Nice colleagues who make work more pleasant and fun.

What started as a nice experience, slowly went sour. Poor communication, bad decision making and overall chaos in managing organisational changes by the leadership has had a significat and negative impact on the culture. You constantly hear that things are going to change for the better, yet the opposite happens with each hastly and poorly thought change. High turnover, short term thinking focused busy work and just getting stuff done no matter the quality, has plunged what was once a innovative company into chaos. The leadership is out of touch with reality and when you have the same person leading Sales and HR, it's pretty clear what culture you are looking to build. Luckly there's a beer fridge to fix it all.

Where is the transparency..

Overall, my colleagues are amazing and also the reason for me staying at Bannerflow.

I don't know whether to laugh or cry. One day you ask your colleagues and employees to write positive feedback on Glassdoor because of previous bad reviews. This request led to more bad reviews, and the next day you write about great company culture on LinkedIn. If you really want to live and breathe the goal of establishing a great company culture, a great piece of advice would be to start being more transparent with us, the employees. You ask a lot of us in terms of giving feedback on culture, work environment, and leadership, but you never present any findings or insights. This makes me wonder, are you afraid to share the results? The overall level of dissatisfaction on both floors has never been higher during my time here. People are getting promised promotions, increased salaries, and that things are about to change. But are they really? There is a strategy to hire unproven people without previous experience in senior roles. This has led to slow development, confusion, and a lot of interim solutions. Mid management, leaders, and uncompetitive salaries are the main reasons people are leaving.

What I like about working at Bannerflow is the possibility to drive changes in ways of working or how you want to develop as an individual. As long as you are prepared to also give your own energy into it.
|
The negative with having lots change at a short notice might make it not the perfect place for someone wanting a stable and stale work environment.

Great office, the employee offering is solid with health insurance, a competitive pension program, high salary levels, ambitious environment. A lot of career opportunities and general opportunities for growth. I personally feel that Bannerflow offers a great work-life balance and that management cares!

A lot of things are still coming to place - although it has professionalized a lot in the time I've been here, and I do see the changes happening - if you don't like an evolving environment, especially in the commercial and strategic parts, this might be too much.
