My co-workers were some of the best people I've ever worked with. Very supportive of one another.

Not a fair employer. Claims to be an equal opportunity employer but continues to hire white males, with the occasional white female here and there. Hardly anyone of color works here, very white-washed. They only cater to upper management when it comes to pay. Pay does not reflect of quantity or quality of work done. Expect to be exploited for your work with minimal pay. Does not follow through with promises of a pay raise when hired into a new position with more responsibilities. Communication between management and employees is very poor.

The work was incredibly fun and most of the folks who worked there were top notch. Flexible work schedule most of the time.
|
The company was top heavy and relied on the skill of just one or two talented managers to do real work. The pay is extremely low for the area and some years they didn't give raises. Secretive stock options given to some, but not all employees with similar eligibility (buddy system). Poor focus on new product development. No consideration for safety, testing, or customer satisfaction which caused constant grief for both customers and developers.

One of the best places I've gotten to work.

Great environment and corporate culture. They make quality products that employees can be proud to stand behind. Employees are top notch. There is very little office drama. One of the best places I've had the opportunity to work.

Communication from upper management does not happen very often. Many times employees have little knowledge of company direction until surprised all at once. You have to seek out and track down information.

Good team atmosphere. Employees are always trying to make positive contributions. It's a small company, and there is a lot of opportunity to learn new things if you're willing to take on more responsibility.
