Not All It's Cracked Up To Be
Good people, work/life balance, freedom, good stated culture
Unwilling to learn from experts - so confident in internal culture that they treat legitimate, constructive criticism as sign that those people are simply not a "good fit." There is a definitely a "good ol'boy" feel to BW.
That is incredibly discouraging - and so widespread that it undermines their stated culture. People were leaving before me, at the same time as me, and after me, and others have reached out that they are looking: and not just disgruntled malcontents, but long time cornerstones who really want them to succeed. It's not just one department either - it's systemic.
Bottom line: when you build your reputation on strong culture, and fail to deliver on that, you're not going to keep strong talent. Especially given the fact that the pay is just okay and the benefits are really bad.

Aspiring to a strong culture and actually having or building a strong culture are two very different things. Stop simply promoting people who are experts at one thing into completely different roles that they are not experts at (or at least coach them and help them once they are there!). This creates an echo-chamber, stifles improvement and innovation, and creates a strong perception of elitism that is relatively undeserved.
Also: when there are rumblings of frustration that pop up, continuously marketing how great the culture is and how awesome people are treated tends to frustrate those people all the more.

Nice people processes are behind the times
The people here are really very nice and they are very welcoming.
They have a difficult time omitting to processes and most leadership roles slide into crisis management as a result of this.

Great to their people
Genuine care about each individual - senior leadership does everything in-line with some of the famous words from Bob Chapman and Simon Sinek.
Real opportunity for professional and personal growth.
Lean is a key mantra, but not completely/thoroughly implemented yet.
As with most businesses, the focus can often be on the fiscal quarter/year rather than true Lean. Only an issue for the Lean purist!
Lack of structure limits long-term career development planning.
