More substantive work than any other internship that I've heard of. Ability to draft memoranda and perform analysis of data. It is a great way to gain exposure to the business community and executives. The Bay Area Council team is very friendly and provide opportunties to contribute meaningfully. Opportunities to attend many exclusive events and hear from top officials and executives. The company is thriving and works at the heart of business and public policy.

This internship is unpaid however it does offer a traveling stipend. If you don't take the initiative you may not have a ton of work.

I don't think there is much improve the internship experience. Perhaps paying a larger stipend would boost intern morale and productivity. It is a well run organization and a great work experience
