Use your authority to encourage your employees, not belittle them and threaten them with suspension/termination every other week. In the time I worked at your facility, you lost a ton of great employees due to your stubbornness to staff the right amount of nurses. Instead you decided to keep admitting patients to increase revenue while patient-care was suffering due to unrealistic expectations for the conditions in which we worked. The initial DON, who built this place up from the ground-up, was pressured into leaving by administration. Two interim DON's later and a new-grad DON later and the place looked like it was ready to be shut own by the state because of its inability to contain the Rotavirus as well as staff enough employees to give good patient care.

Ok environment, but no growth.

When working here, you gain insight to how nurses work and the feel of working on a "floor" environment. Most employees are easy to talk to and are willing to help out at all times, especially when issue is concerning a patient. Environment is clean and well put together.

Most of the employees chat poorly about each other, some of the higher ranked managers aren't willing to help when pertaining to growth, etc.
